About me
Hello everybody,
welcome to my private website called RuniverzuM. My name is Radek Šrejbr, I was born and raised in the royal city of Litomerice in the Czech Republic in Central Europe. I work as a high school principal. I have a Bachelor's degree in Industrial Property and a Master's degree in International and Regional Relations in Industrial Property from the Metropolitan University in Prague. I set up the website to collect information about my meteorite collection. I also write articles on the site. My colleagues and I have written a book entitled Meteorites: The Art of the Universe. The book was published in the month of November 2024. I am also newly involved in lecturing about meteorites for laymen and advanced students. In addition to meteorites, I am also interested in fossils, rocks and space. I have a collection of minerals and fossils including, for example, a mosasaur tooth, ammonite, amethyst geode and dragonstone septaria. My family and I regularly watch astronomical events announced by the Institute of Astronomy through our telescope. During the covid-19 pandemic, I deepened my interest in meteorites and realized that I wanted to own at least a piece of the universe. I bought my very first iron meteorite in Kutná Hora in a small local shop. Each meteorite has a special meaning for me. My favourite meteorites come from the planet Mars. This planet has always fascinated me. I regularly follow the information available from probes. I am also interested in meteorites from the Moon, the asteroid Vesta and other *potentially confirmed objects (*Mercury).
